How My Homemaking Journey Began

I became a Stay at Home Wife about halfway through my pregnancy with Easton (beautiful little boy in the picture above) in October of 2021. All teachers in Oregon were given a deadline to get the COVID vaccine by, I did not get the vaccine for many reasons so I was placed on leave…indefinitely. I couldn’t find other work because I was not vaccinated and I was 20+ weeks pregnant with a very prominent baby bump. After my son was born and my leave eventually ended I went back to work. My Husband and I quickly found we would not be able to afford childcare with my income so I became a Stay at Home Mom. I’ve since been learning about sourdough, gardening, homebirth, baking, parenting, time management with a baby (now toddler), and all things non-toxic.

I was reminded at a women’s conference my voice is important and I am meant to share it. I wanted to create a space to do just that and invite others along to do the same because everyone’s voices and experiences are just as important. We should all be encouraged to stand and speak in our sphere(s) of influence. I want to create a home like (online) space where people can find information/advice/personal experiences on gardening, children, fertility/pregnancy/birth/postpartum, cooking/baking, and so much more.

Come follow along on my homemaking journey!

“and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬
