Hello! I’m so glad you’ve found my page! My name is Katey and I’m a traditional birth and loss doula. I’m a follower of Jesus, a wife, and a mother.

I didn’t know it at the time but my doula journey began after I had my third miscarriage. I dove into all things fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. After the birth of my son I fell in love with the entire journey. I fell in love with birth. I furthered my research into the birthing world, but it wasn’t until after I had been grieving my fifth miscarriage that I suddenly had the realization I wanted to be a doula. I wanted to hold space for women while they entered the birth portal and came out a mother. I wanted to be there for women that had experienced loss and are now experiencing their first full term pregnancy after loss. I wanted to be there for women that are currently experiencing loss. I want to be the woman I needed in an incredibly vulnerable time in my life where I didn’t have anyone like that.

I believe birth works when you let it. When you get out of the way and let nature do what it does best. We as women were built to birth our babies. I want to support women go into birth ready to enter into the event that will break them down and build them back up into a mother, whether it is their first birth or their eighth. I want to help women on their journey to heal any birth trauma, or any trauma really. Healed people heal people. I’ve healed many of my woundings and while I’m not 100% I know I can help others start their journey to healing and freedom. I want to bring light and love into the pregnancy and birthing world because here in Oregon there’s a lot of darkness in it.
